The White Paper lays out the theoretical grounds for the Munāẓara Engagement Model, which constitutes ADAB’s intervention concerning a virtuous argumentative practice, and serves as the blueprint for the preliminary Protocol specifically designed for structured debate practices. The project team is developing the White Paper based on three main resources. The first resource is a series of expert consultations along with reflections on each consultation output. The second resource consists of the knowledge accumulated through the Munāẓara translations, the position paper on debate practices, and the reflections gathered in the International Symposium. Finally, the third resource is an online workshop on the MEM, where we present a first draft of the White Paper and open it for critical comments and evaluation.
