Shahid Rahman, born in 1956 in New Delhi , is a philosopher and mathematician, and professor of logic and epistemology at Lille III University. He is particularly known for his work on dialogical logic. Apart from his individual contributions to the field, Prof. Rahman is the editor of many scientific book series including "Logic, Epistemology, and the Unity of Science" published by Springer.
