Dr. Rahmi Oruç recently hosted a two-day workshop on Munazara during the second International Summer School in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Dr. Oruç spent the first day of the workshop introducing students to the art and techniques of Munazara, guiding them through its intricacies, and explaining how it differs from other forms of debating. On the second day, students, having been equipped with theoretical knowledge, were given the chance to practice the Munazara Model, essentially adopting the role of a debater, or "munazir." It is our sincere hope that the experience and knowledge gained from this workshop will inspire the students to establish a Munazara club at ISAR and at their respective universities.
